Got an event, a project, or a program that could use some money? That's what we're here for. The College Nine Senate funds student ideas — yours included.
Who can apply: any UCSC student organization, whether or not you're based at College Nine. Outside organizations can request up to $200 (more is possible with written justification), and every funded event needs at least one College Nine affiliate able to take part.
How it works
- Submit a request using the form on this site.
- We reach out within 1–2 days to schedule your presentation.
- You present for 3–5 minutes at a weekly Senate meeting.
- You get a decision by email, typically within 2–3 weeks.
That's the whole process. No hidden steps, no paperwork maze.

When we meet
Senate meetings happen every Thursday, 6:00–7:30pm in Social Sciences 1, Room 261. Everyone is welcome to attend.
